This time it's got a small slightly yellowing head of broccoli, half a cabbage which I think has been in the fridge since before Christmas, one carrot, two soft and sprouting potatoes, two large leeks, a soft yellow pepper, and a slightly not as soft orange pepper.
Two heaped teaspoons of that powdered veg stock, a tablespoon of cider vinegar, three heaped teaspoons of hot paprika (hasn't made much difference), a teaspoon of coarsly ground black pepper, and the remains of the minty lamb gravy from last night are the additions.
I whizzed it briefly with the hand held whizzer just to thicken it a bit but it's still quite chunky. And quite delicious 😁
Along with some homemade walnut and honey soda bread that's tonight's meal sorted.

Being a user of a regular vegetable delivery service, I sometimes get a build up of unused vetetables in the refrigerator.
Seeing this thread, I thought I might give it a try.
My collection included cabbage, kale, carrot, pepper, onion, potato and ended up a tasty soup.
Outstanding success, and several servings now safely in the freezer.
I might try rockyracoon's suggestion next 😊 😊 😊
