Coworker Mimics Everyone In The Office
If I'm on the phone and I say to the person on the other end, "Oh dear", he'll mimic me out loud in front of everyone. If someone else has a cough, he'll mimic the cough and throat clearing out loud, if someone else can't pronounce a word properly he'll mimic that, for example, a guy from South Asia who works in the office, can't pronounce the word 'hospital' and will instead say, 'aspital', then he'll mimic that out loud.
Why is someone so rude like that?
Answers
as i thin i said before to you, not everyone is the same. My workplace encourages neuro diversity, and therefore i work with a lot of people who one might consider "slightly strange".
One of them (for example) appears to have no 'social skills' as i would call it. He's fantastic at the work, and i can completely rely on him though. Another person i work with makes little noises. Another, if he hears a new word will repeat it randomly. it's not a conscious thing on his part, he just does it
it is called perseveration of echolallia - I will allow ABers to look all that up
it is a featue of OCD and tourettes - which you also need to look up

I had a tic - boop boop! ( high pitched, top C will do) and wasnt worried when people did it to my face.
