I know it's difficult, but ignoring Starmer's (and many others) freebies, his rank hypocrisy, his crumbling to the unions, his betrayal of the old, his cronyism, them being more sleazy than the the Tories, and his clearly very limited ability, what has Labour done right in their first 100 days?

Got the Tories out of government.

It wasn't too difficult by the way.

Let me correct your first post mate "Got the Tories out of Government and replaced with a worse Governmemt"

No need to thank me for correcting your mistake.

Don't worry mate. The rest of the whiney echo chamber you were expecting will be along soon to back you up.

Hope so.

Rather than being a pillock Tomus, do you think Labour are doing a good job?

Don't put yourself down. I wouldn't say you're a pillock.

I'm happy with what Labour are doing so far.

Really?  What are you happy about?

Question Author

You're happy with what Labour are doing? Seriously? You're an ideologue then.

The very best thing I can say for misguided people like you, is that I pity you.

Off the top of my head, means testing the winter fuel payment, as per every other state benefit payment.

That to Naomi.

And that means testing is entirely sensible?

Do you object to it? If so please explain why.

Question Author

What's your view on Starmer, the day before the election, stating there was no place for cronyism, even having accepted tens of thousands of freebies and giving a free pass to a crony to No 10?

I'll ask again.  Do you think it's entirely sensible.

I'll ask again. Do you object to it?

If so, please explain why.

Your question is deliberately ambiguous. Ie What does 'sensible' mean in this context?

//Hope so.//

Only one so far. Not to worry though.

tomus42, like most things this government has done so far the winter fuel payment wasn't thought through.  I am not saying it shouldn't be means tested but many people are just 1 or 2 pounds over that limit.  She just jumped in with 2 feet without thinking it through properly and with no consultation with anyone including her own party, many of them object to it in it's current form but are frightened to say.  To say you are happy with what Labour are doing so far you must be looking at it through a pair of Starmer's free rose coloured glasses.  Starmer said on TV tonight that his transport secretary's view of the £1bn contract she has more or less lost with P & O boss was not the view of his government,  does he not know she is one of his government and on his front bench.

"What does 'sensible' mean in this context?"

Aligns with the thoughts of naomi. Come on, it's not rocket. 😄

shedman, this stuff doesn't happen in a vacuum, there's no way she went off the reservation with something as big as this.

Mr Starmer and his politburo are and were well aware of decisions made and their announcement and any chat to the contrary is lies.

The one possible exception so far is Louise Haigh but she may have just been overcome by bad hair dye.
