What does 'Balance after pending' mean on a bank statement credit card section. Is it best to have, lets say £500. or £0.00?

It means any stuff being processed like debit card payments, cheques etc have been taken into account letting you know what you actually have.

Balance after pending is the same as available balance. It is your current balance minus any outstanding transactions that the system knows are coming through.  The larger amount available to you the better.

Balance after pending means what you've got left after what you've paid out has come out of your account.

The pending is the amount waiting to come out of your account.

Ok, thanks all. The thing is I paid for a washing machine on line with my credit card two months ago. I have my account set up to top my credit card limit back to its limit (hope that makes sense) so I didn't know if the statement was good or bad. Thanks again.
