new mobile phones (how safe are they?)

ive just seen an advert for a new slither mobile phone,its so thin!!! they keep bringing new phones out all the time,how safe are they do you think?

we had all the news last year about how unsafe they are,& they make them smaller & thiner now? surely these must be more unsafe!!!

please if anyone knows let me know :o)

I can't really see how a mobiles thickness could affect safety?

The danger with mobiles is you're putting a very powerful transmitter right next to the most sensitive part of your body * and theres a bit of debate as to whether using mobiles for long periods of time is likely to cause probems like brain tumours.

If you're going to use them for long periods of time it's probably best getting one with a bluetooth headset and having the phone in your pocket. Erm....except if you're a bloke as the bits down there as just as sensitive.

Only thing that worries me about these new ones is what happens when you drop them?
