Just had first free session and can't see point as nothing legally binding and have to return to solicitor to get things written up for court and it costs 450 each approx. for 3-4 sessions.
My husband sat there and said he didn't want a divorce and would try to change my mind! Also said he would not go back to work if he had to support me and 3 sons. Now threatening to go to Romania with Romanian totty and live off his redundancy payment there! Wants me to ask for half the amount my solicitor advises or else won't take it at all. Has currently been on sick leave with depression for 9 wks.Any comments?

Mediator said rather tactfully that we were both at different emotional levels!...I took that to mean they couldn't really help until ex2b declares his intent seriously,at present I think court will have to do this for him.Don't believe threat about living in Romania as totty was so keen to leave and has not visited family since, although she does co-own a 4 bed detached with first husband that he tells me (her English husband) that she won't agree to sell.
Yes, lady_p_gold, I am living in marital home and sons are 21,19 and 10yrs.Eldest awaiting training course, 19yr old to resume A levels after breakdown and I'm trying to postpone mine for the next 6 months!!
Pheew, so you have time to adhere to the original game plan and stick in for the long haul.I hope that you will allocate an appropriate time period for projected breakdown - be generous you deserve to indulge yourself.
Glad you can speak to tottys ex , (back to knowledge is power!),you sound like you are doing really well, even though I am sure it doesn't feel that way! Those boys are lucky you are prepared to bat for them.Keep up the good work.love Sense.
