Sometimes the debt collector just doesn't have the details - just basic info given by the creditor, so they would have to go back to the creditor for them.
However, if you don't pay and they (or the creditor they are acting for) decides to take Court action against you they will only succeed if they can prove to the Court's satisfaction that you do owe the money. They would have to provide the details with the Court claim to do this and you could then dispute liability if it was not your debt.
