I'm going to check this out with my council when I get the chance, but has anyone got any experience of getting a grant for insulation for a private house. According to the website of my council, this should be possible in theory, but I am just wondering what the rough cost to me would be. Given the recent price hike by British Gas, I really think I ought to look at getting it done.
