What about ironing? I always suggest this - you can do it from home at flexible times, and if you can collect and deliver, you will find a ready market.
Advertise locally, work by the hour say 5.00 - 6.00, extra for collection and delivery.
Hi stylinsam, are you paid in cash weekly?
If you are a great way to save is, if you are paid on a friday, open your pay packet on the friday the first week, the next week on a Saturday, the next on Sunday and so on, after six weeks you have two wage packets I used to do this it's a great way of saving, otherwise set up a direct debit into a regular saver account you will soon get used to it, Good luck. The best money for old rope job I ever had was as a bar maid in a local posh golf club that had a lot of other Golf Societies come to play on an invitation only basis. I discovered it by accident. I had the interview and all was well but I nearly fell over when I opened my first summer wage packet! The guests had an entertainment charge built into their day and this was divided by the number of staff who had served them during the day. I was paid 180 quid for about twenty hours work this was in the late eighties. needless to say I stayed right up until I got married and wanted to spend weekends at home.
