i'm self employed ami still able to get full maternity pay when my baby arrives

As far as I'm aware the bulk of the maternity costs (salary) are met by the employer, i.e you. However there is a provision for state maternity pay which works out at just over �400 per month. Like everything else, conditions apply.

You may be entitled to Maternity Allowance rather than SMP - see here for details
