Where can I get low home (contents only) insurance from? I am a tenant living is a one bedroom flat- I only want to insure about 5000 worth, including 500 all risks (out of home). Sainsbury's were good but the renewal cost has just doubled. Everyone else I've tried costs even more and insists on a minimum sum of 20,000 being insured. Is no one set up for low cost low cover home insurance?

have you tried tesco? I only have a 1 bed flat and nothing of huge value and i think my premiums about 20 quid a month. You get a discount if you do it on-line
Try looking at student insurers who specialise in this sort of thing Endsleigh used to do it - not sure about now

M and S Financial Services also do insurance with excellent rates but not sure if they will accomodate such as small amount or contents only
I pay less than 15 a month with More Than, inc. 'out of home' cover.
Actually there are a lot of different type of insurance and home insurance is one of the main insurance which covers all type of risks related to home..even i purchased home insurance from https://www.icicilombard.com/home-insurance/silver-plan.cms this site provides very nice home insurance...
