Does my credit rating affect my parents at all?

I still live at home and have a rather poor credit rating - I've never had them (my prents) be a guarantour or anything etc. Debts will be cleared within 8 months I'm just concerned for it affecting them at all.

There may be an "association" made between you - if there is then you can file a notice of disassociation.

The only way to find out is to get a copy of your credit file from http://www.experian.co.uk and http://www.equifax.co.uk
