Hi my ex and i have a joint mortgage i am leaving all the equity to her as there is a child involed, she tells me that she is in the process of doing a equity transfer but as yet i have heard nothing, this has been going on for about 3 years, is there anyway i can speed things along as i dont think she has even started the ball rolling. Thanks for any advice.

Did you have a mortgage in joint names? If so then she will need to prove to the lender that she can manage the mortgage on her own. Its not a simple case of changing the deeds into one name, the mortgage company can refuse this.
It shouldnt take more than a normal mortgage takes to approve. She is mad to keep dragging it out!
