Wrong road name on speeding summons, does it matter?
6 Answers
I have received a summons for an alleged speeding offence here in the Isle of Man (British Isles), and have noticed that the name of the "Place" is incorrect on the summons. The alleged speeding took place on one road, with the policeman and his speedgun stood at the corner of a junction. The name of the "Place" stated on the summons is the side road where I was pulled over and not the main road I was travelling on. Is there any chance of getting off due to this error on the summons? What should I do next? Urgent replies would be gratefully received!

Even then the prosecution had the option to request it be modified at any point.
I don't know how similar IOM law is but I'd guess that it's a pretty long shot
