PIN number backwards - HELP

I've recently heard that if you put your PIN number in a cash machine backwards ( i.e if PIN is 1234 you enter 4321) then this will automatically trigger a message to the police saying you are in trouble, but will pay out.
Anyone know if this is true or urban myth.

Thanks PFA. Thought that might be the case.
Deff an urban myth- as after years of having the same PIN number I got a severe mental block when going to the th'ole in wall a couple of months ago and entered my number in backwards.....it didn't pay out.
Got to be a myth, my PIN is the same backwards as it is forwards, and so far the police heven't come knocking
This was mentioned in the financial section of The Daily Mail yesterday, and yes, it is an urban myth.
