my daughter wants to open an account for herself as she is looking to go to college in the next couple of months but i'm worried as her dad and i have had a few problems in the past, would there be any problems in her opening her own account, she's just turned 16 and wants her own bank account, any advice please, would be very wellcome, thanks.

your daughter shouldn't have a problem getting an account, if she does though you would definately be able to open an account through www.surefirefinance.co.uk I had bad credit problems in the past and they helped me.
