visa debit card or paypal?

i want to buy some products on the internet from America. in terms of exchage rate, which is the better method to pay? paypal or visa debit card? I find that although paypal has no fee for making a transaction, the exchange rate paypal use is nowhere near the international money exchange. what about visa debit card?

It depends which bank issued your visa debit card. It will use the interbank exchange rate but depending on who issued it will add a commission varying between nothing and 2.75%. A few will add a further fee of around 1.5% for overseas usage.
