first pregnancy and benefits
Hello, my daughter is 19 and 3 months pregnant, she works full time for her father, does anyone know what benefits she is entitled too, if any? thankyou

after the birth she will be entitled to child benefit and possibly a child tax credit depending on her earnings.
She will get dentist and prescriptions for free during her pregnancy and up to when the child is 1.
If her father is worried about maternity pay, the money is given to him by the inland revenue to cover it was obviously he may need to emply another person to cover her maternity leave.
She may not want to take maternity leave and return to work straight away but she must take 2 weeks off work after the birth by law.
