What info is shown on a credit report?

When a mortgage company accesses your credit report do they get a general rating or are all debts and total loans etc detailed including outstanding amounts?

I was shocked! All details of all credit applied for, including credit cards that have long been paid off.
With the credit cards it showed the credit limit available and the amount owing.
Every debt I had over the last 7 years was detailed - each with icons to show how many payments were late by one month, two months and so on.
Also every credit search - even where the business was never concluded. This included insurance companies when I had obtained quotes only for motor insurance.
It also shows people who are associated with me because they live at my address.
Fascinating!
So, to answer your question - they will know your financial history in detail.
