I have had a car on hp for the last 6 month's and can not afford the payments as i have entered into a IVA after getting into debt can i give it back and at what cost

The best thing is to sell it back to the company you bought it from they will settle the HP assuming there is enough equity if not you will still owe the balance to the HP company.

The car should have been included in your IVA. We had bought our car about 8 months before going into our IVA and we were allowed to keep it and the payments were put onto our Income and Expenditure form. When the car is paid for, the payments will then go into the IVA.
