If you have defaulted on a credit agreement then your credit file should show (for that company) an 8. The one showing a green zero has reported incorrect information (but I wouldnt recommend asking for it to be corrected otherwise will show adverse credit).
The 8 will remain on your credit file for up to 6 six years, however as it is settled, this will go in your favour compared to an 8 (default) that remains unsettled).
It is still assessed as being adverse credit, future creditors will be able to tell the amount of the original default together with the date...but will also be able to tell that it was settled.
