in desperate need of an answer re: paypal

im currently getting a refund for an ebay item.
will the money go straight to my account of sit in my paypal account??
Aslo how long does the money take to clear to my bank account? Cheers everyone

Refunds will go to your Paypal account. You will need to transfer them to your main bank account later.

It can take up to 10 days for the money to transfer from PayPal to your bank once you have set it in motion.

It depends how your paypal is set up. Mine is linked to my credit card account and it went straight back onto my card without sitting in my paypal account and without me having to move it.
It took about a week after the money was put back into my account until it cleared
