Creating a business logo

Does anyone know of any good websites where I can create a logo for free?

That could be challenging as art, logos, etc., are always subjective issues. For our charity we use a group called Vario Press near Heathrow airport. They've been fantastic over the years, but those compliments go down to the individual, not the company as a whole...

May I ask please, what type of business is it?

I'm setting up as a Holistic Massage Therapist, and I was looking for a simple but memorable logo.

Scooby: That may be something you could possibly guide a local printer's graphics person to do for you. You might wish to take samples of imagery you like to the printer and explain what appeals to you. They, in turn, could share this with their graphic person to help. Also, check your local Friday Ad, I do recall seeing local adverts for graphic artists.

If you're keen on social development, contact your local high school and ask if there is a young person who is interested in graphic design: As a young person's initiative, you could pay them to come up with sample designs.

My daughter has even done a few simple graphics for me for charity events. She's far more talented than some of the people I've paid large fees to in the past.
