Investing in china, asia. What do people think?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you are looking to buy individual shares in China, then I would be careful. This region would stil be classed a "higher risk" are to place your money, however the growth prospects long term could be very good.
To play safer, you may want to look at a managed fund, for example the Gartmore China Opportunities Fund has returned 93.18% over the last 12 months, 203.22 over 3 years and 451.83 over 5 years. Those returns are spectacular to say the least so it shows that China could well be probably the place to be..!!!!
Would strongly advise you speak to an IFA before making any firm decisions. Good luck

I was thinking about investing in China,but I decieded putting too much into one develping country would be dangerous so I invested in a BRIC fund,which focuses on Brazil,Russia,India and China.
