repossesion order help asap

hi can anyone help?
i have a oder to move out of my property by the 24th of this month by the mortgage company, i have applied to the courts asking for a stay for 8 weeks. i have somewhere to go but i need time to pack and try and sell the home so its a less debt.
im waiting for the courts to get back to me with a date to see the judge, but i was wondering if there was anything i could say to the judge to get them to give me the 8 weeks.
i have very bad ill health and im getting help with packing, but im scared they are going to say no.
the mortgage company is not a high street lender either.
any ideas

I am very sorry but from what you say it sounds as if the court have allready made the order for you to go.

Please go and see a solicitor in the morning with all the papers that you have, and get him to explain it to you.

hi thanks for the reply. the courts issued a warrant for the property, and we filled in a form appealing for a 28 day stay which you can do. it says that you cant just say you have no where to live, we do have somewhere but need time to pack and we wpould also like to try and sell the property so that we can get more money so less debt to be paid. we have got a court date now. the trouble is its the day before we are due out. we have been to court a few times and the judge has allowed us to say as long as we paid so much on top of our normal payment towards the arrears. but we cant do it any more, so we are going.

you might be able to change the conditions of your suspended possesion order, dont give up. Give shelter a call they are like knights on white horses, theyll even go to court with you.

thank you so much for that link, it was so interesting to read and has given me some hope for the judge to allow me time. i cant beleive how many people are in court next week. they could just about fit me in.
its so sad that so many people are going through this.
