i think the figures calculated for a full time mother and housewife were about 30k a year. Not sure if you have kids but perhaps you can agree a figure you owe her :)
Bad choice of words there tufty....lol

"earn her keep"..??

Pray she doesn't see this or she'll be sneezing in your tea tonight!
This is a wind up! I bet Tufty was having a good laugh when typing out this question.

god she saw it , all rights of freedom are stopped with immediate effect until i can make it up to her ......
I have done the shopping tonight and walked the dog , even bought her a chocolate eclair , although she did start choking on it ..... I still need her to look after the kids and earn a little money , i think its called pin money ??
She could start selling crack on the streets. Mr. T says I could, as I apparently have large amounts of it.
With a question like this I don't think your wife needs to earn some pin money. I think she needs some "running away money". What did your last slave die of ?
She's already running your home, doing your washing, ironing and cooking and looking after your children. Don't you think she's 'already earning her keep?'
