Am i entitled to anything from my father's estate

My Dad died suddenly last September without leaving a valid will. My Step-mum is applying for probate but i keeing everything very close to her chest. Am I entitled to anything when probate is granted or will all his money go to my Step-mum?

If he didn't leave a will then usually it goes like this:

Married person with children
Spouse gets everything up to *�125,000 & personal possessions.
Anything remaining is divided into two:-
Half to the children at 18 or earlier marriage.
Half in trust during spouse's lifetime - he or she gets the income. On spouse's death this half goes to the children
