Can anyone cheer me up.. been v let down by my boyf who got too drunk at the pub this afternoon and ruined our plans tonight. i am drinking wine at home alone and have come on here for some support! please help me!

Hello Macsilk , cheer up honey , hopefully he doesn't get drunk too often eh , will he make it up to you another night , you could make sure he does , lol. You have a night to yourself with a bit of self pampering , starting with your wine and perhaps some chocolate . I can't offer any relationship advice though hun , just make the most of your evening , can you ring him and have a chat ? x

It's rotten when things like that happen. I'd forget about him tomorrow and would let him know how much he let you down when he's sober. No good talking to someone when they're 'in the zone' - they won't listen. Blokes!

Hi Macsilk-I would echo what mamma has said,also-do you have any mates you can call who will lend a friendly ear?........and-when HE sobers up(tomorrow?)-make sure you sit down with him and explain how dissappointed you were......don't shout-be as calm as possible...poor men don't know how to deal with a CALM female! hey bigmamma. thanks for your reply, nah he doesn;t do it often so i'm not bothered about it really if i'm honest, its just i had such a hard day at work i was so looking forward to tonight, its still pretty new in the relationship and maybe i just expecting too much??? he has said sorry and said that he will make it up tomorrow.. i do have a box of minstrels.. shall i open them and hope they will help thanks for your reply.x
