New Quiz availiable: Supporting the Fulcrum Challenge charity

Hi there,

My son is taking part in the Fulcrum Challenge - a charity based on helping people in 3rd World countries by raising money and then travelling to the country to build much needed accommodation, schools, health clinics etc. (Regd Charity No: 1072830).

My son has to raise a total of �1500 this year and will then travel to india with the charity to use the money to help purchase the materials and build a school or clinic in a remote Indian village which will help the villagers immensely.

We have available a great new quiz, which requires over 100 answers and has a first prize of �25 for the highest scoring answers received (in the event of a tie the winner will be randomly drawn from all winning responses).

If you would like to support this event, and enjoy a great quiz at the same time, you can obtain a copy of the quiz by sending �2.00 and a stamped addressed envelope to:

Who should cheques be made payable to?

Also, is there a theme to the quiz?

Cheques can be made either to Fulcrum Challenge (in which case they will not be processed for several weeks as we will have to collect them together at the end of the quiz before sending them in) or to Declan Baines (my son who will then send a personal cheque to Fulcrum) - entirely up to you which way you wish to do it.

The quiz has several sections - TV, Film, Sport, Music, Space, Geography, History, Food & Drink then finishes with 'Now the difficult ones...'

In answer to the question 'is it general knowledge quiz?' - the quiz has several sections - TV, Film, Sport, Music, Space, Geography, History, Food & Drink then finishes with 'Now the difficult ones...'

Hopefully something for everyone plus some pretty tough questions at the end to sort the winners out!

Declan has been emailing answers to people today and will be completing the task tomorrow, so hopefully everyone will have them all shortly.

As you were the one advertising the quiz on your son's behalf, maybe you can help sort it out or post the answers in the Q & P section.
