keeping the books

i have a little experience in book - keeping and my brother has just set up business self employed and asked me to keep the books for him. are there any websites out there with guidelines or help on this? thanks

yes the HMRC site is the main one you will need as you will be doing his self assessment return for him, the site they do now is so simple and everything is explained, i have just done a return and it is in 3 days after the tax year started, they con you into thinking you have to wait til september to send the return!
