When I oven cook breaded fish, roast potatoes or any food that can be frozen, I always do enough for 2 dinners, then put the rest in the freezer, so just have to heat up in the microwave next time.
I always make more pasta than I need. I then save it for my lunch or freeze it and re-heat another day. This along with extra pasta sauce as it can be frozen and easily reheated.
I freezze milk and bread too, as they go off quickly once opened.
I read loads in the sun yesterday apparently Mayonaise is a good hair conditioner and after eating oranges the bag that they are kept in makes a good scourer for washing up
shower with a friend to save on water and electric!
i may avoid this though as my flatmate is a guy and my neighbour is a gay guy.
buy an air rifle (initial cost may be quite high) and some pellets along with a decent scope then go shoot some rabbits. free meat for at least 3 meals from one adult male or female. it tastes like very tender chicken with a slightly gamey flavour.
Ensure that you empty the rabbits bladder immediately once you collect your kill as leaving it will cause the meat to turn poisonous.
To do this totally legally approach a farmer and ask him for permission to shoot rabbits on his land I have only ever had one farmer decline me and well over half have paid for each kill (rabbits are vermin) and paid extra so that they could keep the carcase. Were only talking 20p a kill and 2-3 a rabbit.
roll forth with the animal cruelty posts but how else does any meat get on your plate if something doesnt die
