I would like to thank Ethel for the link to the High Interest Rate given in another post to-day. IE: Birminham Midshires. I am impressed, and have invested a large sum into it. Thanks again Eth.

Something else you may be interested to know Shylock, if you are over 50, is that Birmingham Midshires run the investment accounts provided by Saga. They are branded by Saga but they actually operated by B-Midshires. Also seem pretty competitive rates.

Always useful to have a bit put by for emergencies (or treats)

Once again, thankyou both, and at the way things are going up it`s nice to be in the position of being able to keep pace with rising costs by investments in high interest accounts. My age is 73 which is why I call myself Shylock73, See the inference?
