i would like to find out how to get off the black list and find out how much it would cost to be taken off the black list

You need to get copies of your credit report. They cost �2 each and you need to get them from Experian, Equifax and there's another one whose name escapes me. If there is anyone else on your report and they are nothing to do with you, you can apply to have them removed. My daughter once had one of my debts on her report, because our intitials are the same and there was no date of birth on record, so they assumed it was her! It took a while but she got it removed.
The other one is called callcredit.
After you have received these, you will see 'associations'. These are people who they think you are financially linked with.
If you are not financially linked then you should file a "notice of disassociation" with those people.
The other thing is to make sure you are on Voters Role - this is the main reason that people are turned down for credit.
