Not intentionally prying but do you have a criminal record or a poor credit report? Have you done anything that might make you susceptible? How do you know you are blacklisted? Do you have any clue as to why?

You need to get copies of your credit report. They cost 2 each and you need to get them from Experian, Equifax and there's another one whose name escapes me. If there is anyone else on your report and they are nothing to do with you, you can apply to have them removed. My daughter once had one of my debts on her report, because our intitials are the same and there was no date of birth on record, so they assumed it was her! It took a while but she got it removed.
Have you ever had credit in your own name? Do you have a credit card?

If not, it can be very hard to get credit or a contract because there is no history to prove you are a responsible debtor.
The other one is called callcredit.

After you have received these, you will see 'associations'. These are people who they think you are financially linked with.

If you are not financially linked then you should file a "notice of disassociation" with those people.

The other thing is to make sure you are on Voters Role - this is the main reason that people are turned down for credit.
