Hi
Could anyone tell me is it normal practice to have a litigation
executive at a pre-trial meeting with a barrister.
I was told it should have been my solicitor not a litigation executive.

Generally there should be a representative from the solicitors representing you present when you meet the barrister, although this doesnt necessarily have to be a qualified solicitor. The term litigation executive does not refer to any specific qualification.

I'm no law expert but if this is a litigation matter you may be better posting it under Civil
