Advice on will making needed!!!
HI,
I was wondering whether a will is legal if it is made on some of these will making websites? I live with my partner and we have a joint mortgage. Neither of us has any children. Our wills would be simple. Everything I have goes to him and everything he has goes to me. Some websites claim to have been featured on TV and state that their wills are legal. Can anyone advise? P.S our wills would be under SCOTTISH law.
Thanks in advance.

So (subject to those conditions), you can prepare your will using a form from any decent stationers, by using an online service or by scribbling it out on the back of an envelope.
However, as the former MD of a will-preparation company, I would caution against using any form of will-preparation service which only establishes what is to happen if just one of you dies. The first question I would have asked you is "So what should happen to your estate if you're both killed in a car crash?".
