How much did you earn today?

It's a personal question I know! But I just wondered.. those of us who have been hard at work today, what have we got to show for it- financially? what did you have to do to earn today's buck?

Not saying how much I earned, but I started at 6am to get everything ready for my driver at 9am, and I will finish off just after midnight getting the day's paperwork finished.

That's the problem with being self-employed at working at home, you never really get away from it.

i get paid weekly! not telling u how much though.. but i pay tax and NI adds up to about �90 a week?

Just by dividing my annual salary by 365, i seem to have earned about �50 today.

This was basically for doing hardly anything other that surfing the web all day.

Yes, I am looking for another job before they realise I do nothing all day (I'm not lazy, there is nothing FOR me to do!!) and trust me, having very little to do is actually very boring and turns your brain to mush :-)

I agree Ethel- I seem to never stop working from home too.

CheekyChops....if u can surf the web and be paid simultaneously...y not use that to increase your income. �50pd is easily spent daily......don't spend, try and double it with web activities like selling on ebay.

terambulan, I wish I could. I work in a College where using sites such as EBay, Facebook etc are banned during teaching hours so I can only use them during my lunch hour.

I do surveys and stuiff but can't actually sell anything. I really really am looking hard for another job (mostly during my current working hours, lol), the problem is that I am quite well paid (in this area anyway!) for what I do and jobs on a similar salary are few and far between.

I earned a wee packet today -got my dosh for being a scrubber -good at it but tell ya pays well and I love it -its at a wee private Nursery and the wee ones are adorable and theyre getting used to me.

BTW -I had to go through he most thorough disclosure cos I worked with kids and no probs -so there for them that thought I was an erse -well i am but thats off duty lol.

I earned a days pay for not going in cos I am taking some lieu time lol I think it's about �85 before deductions but that's including my bonuses

being a joiner i was on �200p/d with the recent building crises its dropped to �100 im self imployed and feel robbed but a bit of summit is better than a lot of nowt.
