Whilst many people will be familiar with identity fraud, does anyone know if there have been any successful prosecutions for application fraud in this country?
By that I mean lying on applications for credit cards and mortgages, like inflating salaries, I read something saying that 14,500 such application were successful last year, but I've never heard of anyone being arrested, let alone prosecuted for it.
