Not exactly, but I saw in a trivia book that it is more than the US Treasury prints. (Not sure if that was number of bills or total dollar value -- Monopoly players throw around $500 bills more freely than folks can in real life.) In England, is the money in pounds instead of dollars?

Yes it is it Pounds - streets are different - we have Mayfair instead of Broadway etc. Every country Has its own variation with its own currency and its own streets.
