We currently have a car on business contract hire for my self employed husband. The lease comes to an end in March. My husband is still classed as self employed but he hasn't actually earnt anything due to the dire construction industry at the moment. I am sure we could get another deal with the same people we lease from now but if we could get a better deal elsewhere do you think he would get finance from someone else? He wouldn't be able to provide evidence of earnings from recent months because there hasn't been any! Having said that we are managing to pay the present payments on the car because our parents our helping us and they will continue to do so until work picks up.
