I have a joint mortgage with my ex partner, we owe 110,000. We split up, I have moved out and my partner agrees that we should get my name removed from the mortgage. Only thing is house prices have dropped and when we contacted our mortgage lender (Cheltenham and Gloucester) they said the house is only now worth 100,000 and they'll only lend my ex 95% of the property value. We haven't got the difference between what we owe and what they'll lend to pay off, but my ex can more than afford the repayments on what is currently owed. Is there anyhing else we can do? I'm desperate to get off the mortgage!

You'll have to try to raise the difference somehow - sell your assets, personal loan..

Or sell the house
another lender?
