A little info on what has happened:
I went in the bank the other day to draw money out as my card had been retained on the Saturday at night before going out, to find that I did not have the funds in fact I was over my 450 overdraft. I actually cried I couldn't believe it when they told me I had 300 in there. I had 270 taken out at 8.01 which was like 2 mins after I left the machine. Apparently they were using my pin which I don't get as the people that were near me were not near enough to see my pin, im thinking now they used some contraption to get my car and pin.

Anyway the next morning they withdrew 300 which is the limit you can get out on my card a day, then they spent over 200 on the internet at an argos in wood green, I live in turnford which is no where near there.

I cancelled my card just after the last transaction thinking that my card would be safe in the banks machine ☹ clearly not I then found out the next day it had been used.

Thing is there is also going to be charges to my account as I am over my arranged overdraft. Will they realise this isn't my fault?

As soon as I found out the lady at the bank went through a claim form with me on the computer at the bank and I set up a new account with a totally new card. This was Monday at 4pm. She said it would take three days just to go through. Oh I also got a crime reference number from the police station the next day and took that back into the bank.

I was wandering if this had happened to any of you (im sure it has) and how long it took to get your money back? Also should I follow it up as they haven't called me? If so should I ring the bank or is there another number to call?
Im really worried I wont get it back and I really need money asap as I don't get paid until the end of the month.

Please help ☹

You will get it back but it may not be for a couple of weeks or so whilst they investigate. If it will leave you short, ask them for an overdraft on your new account to tide you over.
if they used it over the net surely they can trace the scum that have done this.
Not necessarily, Dave - tickets to be collected at the venue; buy goods to be collected, use it to send money via Western Union to Nigeria...
I had 2 withdrawal's taken from my 2 different cards for $140.00 within 3 days 2 years ago.

It was from a on-line gambling site in Norway. I got my money credited but it took about a month.
