Waiting for job seekers allowance!

My hubby has had to claim job seekers allowance for the first time ever, and he had a letter on the 11th of feb, saying it is payable from the 2nd of Feb and will be paid in, every two weeks into his bank account. So far, nothing has been paid in.

Does anyone know if you normally have to wait this long for them to catch up?

'Yir husband should 'phone them to-morrow morning to make sure the payment has been released. It will be worthwhile making sure that the correct account details have been given when making the claim, it's not unknown for claimant's to get a digit wrong.
