Car finance.

I've got a bad credit history but nothing serious like CCJ's, defaults or bankruptcy. Just a couple of late payments and a debt of �900 that I'm paying slowly. I want to get a car on finance without using dodgy companies like yesloans and welcome finance. Is there any hope?

have you tried just applying?
mind you, if you are having to pay your debt off "slowly" it might indicate you dont have tones of spare cash to be getting a car with! If you do, perhaps pay off your loan frst
