who takes them ???? are they totally done away with ??? would a buruea de change take them,,i need to buy some euros today....thanks

cant you cash a cheque at your bank and then take the cash?

You don't need a cheque, just use the debit card.

There are really no excuses for cheques left, they are hopfully going to be consigned to history pretty soon.

Only problem with a debit card is your bank may charge you for getting currency with it.

Getting the cash first is best
