Ebay scam or annoyance?
10 Answers
I have several people from Poland asking to buy my items from eBay; however, I only ship to US & Canada; says so on all my auctions. However, I continuously get request from Poland. I am starting to think it is a scam and/or same person. They always say "hi, would you send to Poland via USPS First Class Mail Intl? The shipping should be around $3. Please let me know." (or something very similar); which is a dang lie because shipping from US to Poland would only be $3 if I was shipping a feather! Is there some scam I have just not heard about yet?? Or is this person, or people, just stalking me??? lol

Well, providing they pay up front, and cover all the shipping costs as well, I can't see that it would be a problem. It could be that you're selling something that can't be obtained in Poland - unlikely, but possible.
You could try putting a large shipping cost for Europe on your auction. Might put them off.

I get this too, selling in the UK.
Some may be genuine, but I think others are definitely trying to scam you.
Read the PayPal seller protection policy T&Cs; it probably says that you're only covered if sending the item to certain countries, perhaps just USA, UK and Canada. (I think that's how it is for PayPal UK, anyway.)
