I have been working for a local franchise for 2 1/2 yrs now and am thinking about leaving and starting up on my own providing the same service. Possibly in the same area but hopefully slightly out of the franchise restriction area.
Apart from loyalty to this company, what legal restrictions are there to prevent me from taking existing customers with me. I dont mean by actively encouraging them to come with me but by letting them know that I am starting up alone and leaving it up to them. Many thanks.
