What is it with all these "Send us your Gold" Adverts on tv at the moment?

One even said gold is at its highest price at the moment!

can anyone shed any light on this, Because from where im standing it looks like all of these companys are just trying to cash in on a lot of people that have been hit by the recession hard. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are exactly the same as yours.

They are trying to buy gold from people who are struggling to live week by week so will accept a stupid low price.

Well we already have the "send us your old phone" Brigade doing the same thing under the guise, So whats next? Send us your used clothes? Your half eaten meals? Your used bathwater?

Well ive got some "Liquid gold" for them....I call it Beer after its been filtered through my Liver and Kidneys!
