Your Nationwide card will still work in Thailand, just make sure you get a good exchange rate. It does vary from atm to atm

Nationwide have said that their Debit Card is only non-commission in Europe now. I need a card where I don't have to pay commission outside Europe.
Nationwide changed it a few months ago - your right only in Europe now
AFAIK there is no UK debit card that is free to use outside Europe.

Nationwide's charges are still way less than the nearest rival.
The Cumberland Building Society I've just remembered offers free overseas transactions.

However they will only open new accounts if you live within their branch area.
