Hi I'm donig some homework and can't remember how to factorise! anyone able to show me how to do this?

90x²y + 80y and this .. 100x² + 150y²

First one:
10 is a common factor of both terms, as is y. So taking 10y out as a factor, you get 10y(9x² + 8)

Second one:
Taking out 50 as a factor, you get 50(2x² + 3y²)

soon goes doesn't it, I done 3 years of pure and applied maths and I've forgotten most that I was taught too :)
