I have failed 2 modules at Staffs Uni in my second year - accounting and economics. Been told now today that I can only carry on on a part time basis for this year for these two modules which means I cant do my 3rd year until year 4. Problem - no student finance in way of grant/maintenance. How do I pay my student accommodation.? I work p/t 17.5 hrs - can I claim anything such as working tax credit/housing benefit,/council tax?? Help - Any ideas

have you thought about studying with the open university and working to support your studies???
If you did that, you could work part-time, claim some benefits and most likely get some help paying for your course fees too.
can't you do a repeat of the year? were there not extenuating curcumstances?
